III. Information about the data processing

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and for general protection when transmitting personal data and other confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the character string “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser line. Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to apply, provided the deletion of the same is not in breach of any statutory storage obligations or unless otherwise stipulated below.

Server data

For technical reasons, the following data sent by your internet browser to us or to our server provider will be collected, especially to ensure a secure and stable website: These server log files record the type and version of your browser, operating system, the website from which you came (referrer URL), the webpages on our site visited, the date and time of your visit, as well as the IP address (in anonymized form) from which you visited our site.

The data thus collected will be temporarily stored, but not in association with any other of your data. The data will not be transferred to third parties or third countries. The basis for this storage is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

A data processing agreement, also known as data processing contract, was concluded with our hosting provider within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR. The data will be deleted within no more than 30 days, unless continued storage is required for evidentiary purposes. In which case, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion until the investigation of the relevant incident is finally resolved.

Protection against unauthorized access

Furthermore, we use technical security measures on these Internet pages to protect the content of these web pages, as well as administrative data against accidental or intentional manipulation, misuse, partial or complete loss, destruction or other unauthorized access by third parties. For this purpose, access to the administrative area of this website (so-called backend) is logged by means of the respective IP address, the user name, the user ID and the time of access in order to be able to initiate appropriate technical and/or legal countermeasures in the event of unauthorised access attempts (e.g. by blocking and/or tracing suspicious activities). This data is deleted at appropriate intervals. Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the security, stability and functionality of our website and data protection. The data will not be passed on or used in any other way. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Cookies

a) Session cookies

Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your computer by your browser. These cookies process certain specific information about you, such as your browser, location data, or IP address. This processing makes a website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, allowing, for example, to display a website in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies are used to collect data to initiate or process contractual relationships. If the processing does not serve to initiate or process a contract, a legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of a website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

When you close your browser, these session cookies are deleted.

b) Third-party cookies

If necessary, our website may also use cookies from companies with whom we cooperate for the purpose of advertising, analyzing, or improving the features of our website. In case such cookies are used, we will inform our visitors accordingly.

c) Disabling cookies

You can refuse the use of cookies by changing the settings on your browser. Likewise, you can use the browser to delete cookies that have already been stored. However, the steps and measures required vary, depending on the browser you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or consult the documentation for your browser or contact its maker for support. Browser settings cannot prevent so-called flash cookies from being set. Instead, you will need to change the setting of your Flash player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on the Flash player you are using. If you have any questions, please use the help function or consult the documentation for your Flash player or contact its maker for support.

If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, not all of the functions on a site may be fully usable.

We have decided against the use of cookies on the frontend of these websites in order to protect your privacy in the best possible way. Technically necessary cookies are used in our internal login and administration area. However, as we do not offer our visitors any registration/login functions on this website and these areas are not publicly accessible, such cookies are not used when merely visiting our website.

General inquiries / Contact possibilities

In the context of getting in contact with us (e.g. email or if applicable a contact form) personal data is collected. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective form. Such data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of processing your inquiry, responding to your request or for establishing contact and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for the processing of the data is our legitimate interest in answering/processing your request in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your enquiry; this is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the facts in question have been finally clarified and provided that there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary.

Automated decision making and Profiling

We do not use automatic decision making or profiling.
